OK…It is a Saturday
It is Summer vacation.
I worked in the vineyard..no …
I SWEATED, ACHED, DUG HOLES, & WHINED!!!!!
I HATE PHYSICAL WORK!
But…for family…you SWEAT!
( Enough whining…after TACO BELL drive through, shower, A/C…I will survive!)
SO….After I sat down and am NOT getting up so don’t ask…
and decided to get to work…
TWO NEW PACKETS! YIPPEE!
This one is a matching game. Match the frog ( with a number) to the pad.
The pads are in dice, dominoes, & ten frames.
Working with mental number identification.
Good for the beginning of the year.
AND…
This one is an “OLDIE” but a goodie. REMEMBER the “old” fishing game with a magnet?
So.. poke a hole in the top of each HFW card,
thread a BIG paperclip through it,
and put them in a bucket.
Students take a stick ( or dowel, or flyswatter)
with a string that has a magnet glued to the end of the string.
LET THE CHILDREN FISH!
I even hung a yellow fishing stringer next to this center & let them
clip their catches to the stringer!
THEY LOVE THIS!
Played this in another classroom…I had to have this!
Well…icing my “old” body…PHYSICAL WORK is for the YOUNG! 🙂
