Most of you were guessing about my Wordless Wednesday Pictures…
Sooo..
They are
READ THE ROOM CLIP BOARDS!
Here is my thinking..
I want my kiddos UP…MOVING…TALKING…INTERACTING!
My classroom IS NOT QUIET!
If you want quiet…
WRONG ROOM!
Now WAIT!
That doesn’t mean its
OUT OF CONTROL!
OH NO!
BUT….There’s CONTROL & there’s CONTROL!
So I give them some ACTIVITY within MY PARAMETERS!
I am making these VERY BRIGHT, Over the top clip boards…
WITH POLKA DOTS!
Who doesn’t LOVE polka dots?!!!!
My plan is that these will be mounted (PERMANENTLY)…
meaning… KIDS DON’T MOVE THEM..
on my walls with a number.
Kinda like a scavenger hunt.
I will place a task card, or paper with problem to slove, on each one
(now I am thinking 1-6, later 1-10 or 1-12)
for the kids to find & then write their answer or problem
on an accountable sheet!
OK…Clip boards
$1 each at dollar store, HOT PINK SPRAY PAINT ( Wally World ),
POLKA DOT DUCT TAPE ( dollar store )…
I LOVE THEM!
Only did the front ( no one will see the back!)
So, your guesses were…RIGHT ON!
Stay tuned…to see if this REALLY works…:)
Teaching is about taking risks…here I go!
Very cute and so much easier than using modge podge and scrapbook paper!
Okay, so I love your clipboards. I brought my clipboards home today to work on them….my kids love write the room activities! I am now trying to debate whether I need to spray paint or not first. How many coats of paint did it take? I was thinking I would do them in black or blue!
Two coats ( Cover the metal clips if you don't want the colored)…Then duct tape…If kids are going to be using these…I would spray 2 coats of clear sealant after paint! Have fun! Wendy
