I know I have been MIA this week….:(
My daughter-in-law had emergency surgery on Monday.
Took out her gall bladder, but she has a nasty blockage &
she’s begin transfered to another hospital for more surgery.
ANYWAYS…..
I am being a stay at home “Grandma” this week.. 3-year-old & 3 -month old!
THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE STAY AT HOME MOM’S…..
You ROCK!
WOW! Talk about being “on” the whole day!
(I thought field trips were tiring!)
When do you …..shower? do laundry? pick up one mess before the next one starts?
I raised 4 kids & worked full time, while going to night school!
This is soooooo much more! ( More hugs & more laughs, too)
“Grandma…..we don’t do it THAT way!”
(What do you mean you don’t have macaroni & cheese for breakfast?)
AND…little Bella…
I’m sorry I can’t nurse you!
I know..this “thing” is called a bottle..
I know you REALLY don’t like it BUT….
WOW! We are enjoying ALL of this…
Daddy is …stressed, teary, driving from hospital & back,
and DETERMINED to tuck his girl’s into bed EVERY night!
We have raised a FANTASTIC daddy!
So…if I missed you for anything this week…
Wake me up when school is out! 🙂

Your grand-babies are beautiful…enjoy your time with them. Saying a little prayer that your daughter-in-law has a speedy recovery and that you get some rest. 🙂
