So if you saw my post on WORD RINGS…
I am obsessed!
I felt bad that after my TEACHER REFLECTION time,
(at least two weeks AFTER school was out.).
I did NOT do my BEST work with HFW!
So,
I WILL CHANGE THAT!
I have made the word rings…LOTS…
check out my store if you need some.
But, THEN WHAT?
Do I put them in a box?
Should I read them with a fox?
Sorry..been reading Dr. Seuss with Gkids…
NO!
BAZINGA!
has the answer!
PEG BOARDS!
LOVE THIS!
SO …here is my “TRANSFORMATION”
Started at Home store with 2 X 4 ft sheet ( Sorry shade from tree in pic) |
Black Spray paint…2-3 coats remember to do the edges! |
TA DA!!! Polka Dot DUCT TAPE! My NEW favorite! Tape on the front first, then roll to the back! ( I left a little extra on the edges for a slight ruffle…just pinch together ) |
A few pegs… |
Hang them up! BUT WAIT! Pegs were about $1 each…HMMMMM I NEED A LOT! (So McGuyver…What shall we do?) |
PAPER CLIPS! YES! Just bend so the hook for the ring is facing FRONT! |
Love your pegboard idea. I used to use them in the classroom to hang center choices on, and I still have them tucked in closet. I think I see sight words rings in the future in my classroom! And I laughed out loud at the McGyver reference. Whenever I'm stuck on something, I think, What would McGyver do?
