What a WEEK!

Getting ready for Thanksgiving Vacation…

we are off for the whole week!

9 DAYS TO BE EXACT

( Yes…we count weekends…”SLEEP – IN” Days)

After testing, TURKEY projects, writing THANK YOU’s to EVERYONE..

and YES, I mean EVERYONE..

It is time to RELAX!

Yeah, RIGHT!

It was a hectic week…BUT..

The MAGIC is happening..

We teachers know this MAGIC…

The time of year when foundations are set.

When routines are in place.

And when the kiddos start believing on themselves.

The “I CAN DO IT!” ZONE..

This is when it BEGINS!

I heard those…sniff..sniff..Magic Words Today!

We have arrived!

Here we are…READING! Stamina has increased & desire to read has set in!

It warms a teacher’s heart!

As I have said before & I will say again…

IF YOU WANT THEM TO READ..

YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM READING TIME!

Don’t give up independent reading time!

It is WAY…….WAY…..to important!
