Happy Thursday!
I’m Linking up with

For our THURSDAY
Tricks & Tips for Teachers
Linky!
Here is my tip for the week…
Student files...
I keep ALL of my student files in hanging files in a crate.
Keep this crate at arm’s level next to your table or desk.
As you correct student work, assessments, worksheets…
FILE THEM!
Right away…don’t wait for the pile to grow..”touch it once”.
I don’t file EVERYTHING…As a matter of fact..
I HATE TO FILE!
BUT…
for my “lower” students, my INTERVENTION kiddos,
my CHALLENGE ( both academically & behavior )
I FILE!
I FILE WELL!
This has saved me tons of “hunting time” for that piece of paper!
Keep your crate close to where ever you correct papers.
Just correct them.. & file.
After parent meetings or progress reports or …
REPORT CARDS…
SEND the papers HOME!
When I need authentic data…
it’s at MY FINGERTIPS!
So, to help me get through the
“where did I put that?”
I LOOK IN MY FILES – First!
I wish I could say I do this 100% of the time..
Really? NAW…Some afternoons I am filing the “pile”
BUT…give me a minute & I will have it!
Good LUCK & Happy filing!
