It’s ALREADY APRIL???
Where does the time go?

Todays tip will be quick & easy…
MATH MANIPULATIVES!
UGH!
I know..I said the dreaded words!
I know.
They are a MUST when teaching math concepts, BUT…
25 sets of messy hands-on PUZZLE PIECES!
I struggled with the storage of them when they are NOT in use.
These are the ones needed for NEXT week, next month, next quarter.
NOT TODAY’S.
(Today’s manipulatives are in community tubs for each group)
But HOW TO STORE ALL OF THOSE NOT IN USE???
Ta DA!
Hanging Shoe Organizer!
YES!
I bought mine at W Mart..around $12.00
Staple it directly to the wall, and LOAD IT UP!
I tried to put the ones I would need at the
beginning of the year towards the top,
& end of the year towards the bottom.
Kinda like a progression of tools!
So, at least I didn’t have to store ANOTHER tub!
My kiddos get them out & put them away.
I sorted the whole class sets into one bag. Some in two bags.
When we need them we take out one bag, use them, & put them away!
One gallon Ziplocks ( rolled up ) will work too!
So, try, try, try again!
I hope it works for YOU! 🙂
HOPPY APRIL & HOPPY EASTER to you & your family!
What a great idea. Thanks, I will definitely be organizing my math manipulatives in this user friendly way!
