Ok…spill your beans…
 My name is Wendy. I’m a 50+ year old wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and blogger lady. 
This is my 24th year teaching 1st graders.The past 18 years I have been at the same school. ( Never leaving…too much stuff to pack up!)  I have been in the same ROOM for 10+ years! Again..never leaving…TOO MUCH STUFF TO PACK UP! When I retire ( 10+ years) ..open the door & FREE>>>TAKE IT ALL!!!!! ( Except MY good books…save for grandkids!) 🙂

I married my high school sweetheart ( actually started “dating”..he would come over to watch TV with  me & MY PARENTS… when we were 15! I know..15! ( NOT MY DAUGHTER..NO WAY!)

Our families grew up together..I know sounds kinda weird! No really acquaintances…
We have 4 kids ( grown adults now )..
Twin boys (29)…son #3 ( 26)…and daughter ( 23)
and
3 granddaughters…5yrs old,  2 1/2 yrs old, and 16 months..AND
GRANDSON # 1  due in 32 days! 🙂
Yes…we are continuing the family tree!

A few things that I’ve been joyfully tackling all summer long.
Playing with kiddos…my classroom (always )…gardening


 THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS…

Coffee…Dark & fresh roasted. I LOVE to roast my own.
Polka Dots! LOVE them!
Bright colorful flowers…BIG! Gerber Daisies, Sunflowers, Zinnias, BIG!

 IF YOU WEREN’T A TEACHER, WHAT WOULD YOU WANT TO BE?
Always thought I’d work near the ocean.
Now…when I hit the lottery…coffee/book/art studio near the beach
where young & old could come & sit and read, paint, play with clay,drink good coffee
in a RELAXING, joyful atmosphere!

Social.  Family first.  Loyal.
