I’m NOT in my classroom for St. Patrick’s Day! 🙁
(The leprechaun’s used to come to my class, knock over desks, leave us “gold dust”, and leave us notes
almost every day until the BIG day! We would write back each day …so fun!)
And then our schedule changed…sigh…Oh, well..
So…I am beginning to think about SPRING!
I love Easter!
It’s REALLY hard though, in public school.
I love SPRING activities, flowers, animals, weather, new beginnings, etc, BUT…
It is a religious holiday! I know! I will be in church on EASTER Sunday!
So I try to keep it “Easter” Lite…and go “SPRING” heavy…
As I begin the path to SPRINGDOM…I hopped skipped right into
MOTHER’S DAY!
Just a little Freebie ( for awhile)…
After all….I’m soooooo close to 100 followers!

I agree with your thoughts about Easter. I've never understood why schools is cancelled for Christmas, but we're here for Good Friday!!! People really have priorities all messed up.
I love your blog! It is cute and I'm your newest follower.
Owl About Us
I'm in the same boat- slippery slope with the Easter bunnies-
We do go to a farm and and see
New babies _ so that helps with the bunnies, but we have to keep it spring- no Easter –

Hi
I found your blog through TPT forums! 🙂 I am bummed about St. Patrick's Day being on Sunday too!
I love having a visitor come and mess up our room. I always hide a pot of gold (rolos) and have a cute little treasure hunt for the kids to be able to find the gold. Next year…
So, I'm with you – on the spring! 🙂
Thanks for sharing your great ideas! I'm off to go check out your other goodies!

I too was out of school on Saint Patrick's day.. but I was too bummed to skip it. So the leprechaun is going to come on Friday (because I am not crazy enough to do it early in the week.) Hopefully my kiddos still love it.
I do look forward to the spring things too!
