I LOVE for my KIDDOS to make charts!
( Expert at drawing…NO WAY!)
I actually made a stick “giraffe” the other day!
But…my EL students & my LOW babies…
need a little “graphic ” to hold on to.
AND..
USE SMELLY MARKERS!

Here are two of my girls after we read about

( I made this chart after THEY told me what to write!)
Then they wrote a shared writing “NOVEL” with each other!
They ROCKED the writing!
Don’t be afraid to let THEM make the chart & share with the class.
Remember….if they can teach it to someone else..
THEY KNOW IT! 🙂
