usually based on my last years test scores & my teaching reflections.

HIGH FREQUENCY WORDS!

When I was in elementary school ( dinosaur era 🙂  …

we  MEMORIZED all of the sight words.

( Dick & Jane were so exciting!)

But…what happens when kids DON’T get enough practice
 to memorize the words..

they need ….FUN  PRACTICE!

All my rings hang ( some with store hangers…some with JUMBO PAPER CLIPS)
on the board!
EVERY DAY when they go to WORD WORK…their first job is to pick a WORD RING
and …READ…by themselves or with a partner!
EACH & EVERY DAY!!! YIPPEE!!!
You can differentiate by leveling your word rings (  a sticker or colored  dot  on the back???)
